Disclaimer

SNAP Estimate provides an independent estimate tool and educational information. It is not a government website, legal service, benefits office, or official SNAP application.

The calculator result is not an approval, denial, guarantee, legal determination, or official benefit notice. Your state SNAP office makes the final decision.

Not a Government Agency

SNAP Estimate is independent. It is not operated by USDA, FNS, a state SNAP agency, an EBT card provider, or any government office.

The site does not issue benefits, manage EBT cards, process applications, check case status, schedule interviews, replace cards, or update household records.

Estimate Only

The calculator uses information entered by the user to produce a possible SNAP estimate. Actual eligibility and benefit amounts may differ because of state rules, household details, documents, income verification, deductions, resource rules, student rules, work requirements, noncitizen rules, and other factors.

Even if the calculator says you may not qualify, you may still want to apply. A state SNAP office can review details that an online estimate may not fully capture.

No Legal, Financial, or Case Advice

The information on this site is for general informational purposes only. It should not be treated as legal advice, financial advice, case advice, immigration advice, or official benefits counseling.

If your situation is complicated, contact your state SNAP office, a qualified legal aid organization, or another appropriate professional resource.

Use Official Resources to Apply

SNAP applications are handled by state agencies. For official application forms, local offices, contact information, and benefit questions, use your state SNAP office or the USDA SNAP State Directory.
